MISSION & VISION

The MISSION of the Shaker Sports Boosters is to support all School District sports programs at Middle School and High School levels in active collaboration with all Shaker athletic programs.

The VISION of the Shaker Sports Boosters is to champion a thriving athletic community with opportunity for all student athletes, playing a vital role in connecting a diverse Shaker Heights.

WHAT WE DO

Your membership and donations support the work of the Shaker Sports Boosters. The majority of our activities contribute to building the overall athletic environment, including:

The Fall Sports Kick-off, which builds enthusiasm for the coming school year, launches each teams' season in a productive communal way, and brings together our athletic community.

The Used Equipment Sale, which provides younger athletes with access to lightly used equipment, a forum for youth to interact with older athletes, and the opportunity to develop a connection with a "friendly face" they will see in the halls of the high school when they enter 9th grade. Parents also get the chance to learn and get questions answered about their student-athlete’s specific team.
Senior Athlete Posters, which publicly celebrate the commitment and dedication of athletes who compete through their senior athletic season. By highlighting the diverse faces of our deserving student-athletes, we help provide younger student-athletes with visible, positive role models.
Supporting the new Raider Athletic Center, a new modern facility designed to meet today’s training standards with enough capacity for all of our student-athletes.
Expanded Shaker Middle School signage, which raises the visibility of our 7th to 8th grade athletic teams by extending the visual identity of Shaker High School's athletic "brand" to Shaker Middle School.
